that showed we'd mastered things and could be consistent. Today was my second run. It went great. Slightly over two miles. My muscles are not at all pleased that I'm back at it but my ankle isn't causing any issues. (2/2)

It felt so good to be back fully. And, I wasn't down long enough to affect the progression, easily doing the next PR for bench. (2/2)

But I still want to be an inspiration. And I'm not done. (5/5)

My heart rate got quite high quite fast, so I need more conditioning again. But, I could hold a pace less than 9 min/mile easily. Even the low 8's worked, but I hit that HR cap fast there.I know there's more to me than being the wolf who forgot how to quit. (4/5)

so named because it appears to be the last turn before home but there's actually more, on my last interval back before my cooldown. I did. I wanted to get back when time actually ran out, and I did.Is everything perfect? Oh no. There's a long build back up to come. (3/5)

I've named a ton of points along my trail since I've used it for over a year. I wanted to make it to the Milestone, which is almost exactly one mile in. I did. I wanted to get back to Liar's Corner, (2/5)

I simply won't be healed enough to run much at all by that point and certainly not a full marathon. Erf. I have a lot of time now but I still hate this. (2/2)

I couldn't really feel my legs. It felt like I was floating. This was something new. I am so happy that I can be back at it. Now jogging, that's the next thing to check. (2/2)

albeit very rough, I did it.Do I say this because I'm some super wolf? No. I say it not because I did it but because if someone like me, who was blowing out their knees just walking around not too long ago because they were too overweight, (5/6)

I walked a ton after literally running out of steam, and after I got back and looked at the metrics on my watch, I was stunned. HR peaked at 169. In the orange zone that's way high for over a solid hour. 1500 calories in an hour 45. This was HARD. And, (4/6)

Where I do the hardest thing I have ever done in my life then do that again, nearly every single day. Today was definitely one of those. Ten miles. Speed play, or as the Swedes put it so well, fartlek. I was out too late so it got hot, I ran out of water, (3/6)

and this sport is pretty much 100% mental. Anyone not seriously disabled can run. It just takes an immense amount of dedication and work.I've talked about how that dedication will produce a really amazing effect. (2/6)

Insufficient space to mention my horror at work demanding we use an approved LLM for work writing. For security.

Learning by observing something destructive does not impart responsibility for that destruction to you. Your interest actually mitigates it. That desire to learn honors those who were hurt by working towards preventing future destruction.

Eleven miles this morning, capped low for just cardio. It was honestly not hard, just that cap kept yanking me back. Total run for the week: 22 miles. With a 700 yard swim for good measure. (2/3)

The hills were just savage, with a total elevation gain of 620 feet over the run. Easy, no. But I did it. And I'm nowhere near ruined. I need a lot more hill practice for my next big race and training is supposed to be hard. That's why it's so enjoyable. (2/3)
