They can be kept solitary but at that point they think they are whatever their owner is. It's recommended to keep them in at a minimum a pair. Roughly close in age. Debating in giving them a poisonous spike in their fin or tail but I might not.

Wind chaser populations and their roe. Kinda like those frogs that tarantulas keep. Feng-min keep them as pets but they are also used to keep pests out of irrigation systems and water fields. Some use them to hunt and fish the same way you hunt with ferrets.

I got the idea because I was looking at a video from a koi expo and the fact that some were the size of medium dogs made me want to do another koi inspired creature for the tusk. Im gonna spend time refining the features and stuff before I decide what they are called

I remember back on dA when this type of tail was made popular with various closed species. I really like the visuals they give. I've seen lots of cat fish creatures and like the general idea that seems to be consistent. At least with the ones that go more fish face than cat

Basically bringing her back to have some more fun lore on the tusk. Sort of inspired by stories from Meji period folks on some kitsune and a bit of inspiration from good hunting - silkpunk story* *Silkpunk is the closest label I can think of but obviously not the western gaze for it
