APPLY → Summer Institute: Digital Humanities for Hellenic Studies – Visualizing the Past: Mapping Athens’ Lost Neighborhood: July 7 - 11. Open to scholars from all disciplines, regardless of technical background, this workshop is designed to explore DH methods for mapping & spatial visualization.

It's a new year and "A New Phase for Derrida’s Margins" 🌘 @jerielizabeth.bsky.social interviews @suttonkoeser.bsky.social on the decision and process of transforming Derrida’s Margins into a “read-only” version and discusses the challenge of defining endings and potential futures for DH projects.

I am biased as her advisor, but Kim Akano's dissertation and DH work (the latter supported by our wonderful @princetoncdh.bsky.social) are fascinating and will add so much to our understanding of the role of religion in African American and African connections. #AcRel

FINISH the year with STARTWORDS! Announcing the release of Issue 5: Processes 🎉 This issue features the work of 3 leading grad students from CDH using data curation and visualization to highlight the importance of everyday, historical people whose lives may otherwise have remained unknown to us.

We are so excited to share CDH Project Manager @marynaydan.bsky.social's #Princeton Winter Session workshop: Project Management 101! This one-day intensive workshop will provide a crash course in PM theory and practice, with a special focus on software development in an academic research context.
