The radicals, interestingly, are *mostly* easy, because they're mostly words that have already been taught, like Big Brother, Humble, Skin, Few, Express...
But there's still new stuff, and the *kanji* being passed is the important bit.

Like... You can use 16px tiles. You can use, at most, 200px for characters, and rarely above 128 unless it's a boss or something.
But you can still do shit like AA, subpixel animation, dithering, and other things. And you're already in the mindset of making big things out of little things.
