This won’t age well. Bitcoin will do what Bitcoin does regardless of Trump.

He created the reserve but I don’t see where he spent any tax money for it. It was just previously confiscated bitcoin that they are holding already.

The military will probably be protecting us from Europe. I think we are going to be on the wrong side of a world war on our present path.

Sure anything is possible in the future. But for right now, we have a decentralized secure monetary instrument that cannot be inflated by governments or oligarchs with Bitcoin. It is the apex asset. I am a fan of Reich and I agree most crypto is a scam, but Bitcoin is for real.

Consensus can change the code to make it better. Nice try though.

It goes the other way too. Until Bluesky, it was hard for me to ask scientists questions as a layman. Without all the hate and bots, I can ask those burning questions to the experts and get answers. This place is great!

Bitcoin is not the preferred currency of the underworld. That is the US dollar.

It is not often used for laundering. The US dollar is still king for that. It can be tracked. It is a public ledger. Eventually you have to bring it to a centralized exchange. Customers of brokers are buying it. The bitcoin ETF from black rock is the best performing ETF of all ETFs.

Could you add tipping with some sort of crypto or something else? Until ads come online, it will be a way of content creators making some money during the transition. I can’t wait to see what it will do for Bluesky too!

I have said the same for years. Companies will never agree so Congress will have to do it. An 8 hour reduction - 2 hours per year for 4 years I think to give the market time to shift.

I saw you discussing abiogenesis on The Line. Can you recommend any books or YouTube channels discussing the latest research for lay people that can’t understand papers? Erica does this on her channel for hominids. Microbe TV also does it for virology.

He won the popular vote this time so I don’t think a lack of the electoral college would have helped. It would have looked like a slim victory, however, if it was just the popular vote.

Biden dropped the ball and now Trump is going to kick it down the drain. Excellent article. Thanks for posting.

I just said the same this morning. Canada seems like Austria late 1937. Trade partner relationships, exertion of pressure, and rhetoric is starkly similar.
