I wish we could catch a bus to Chicago I miss my old hang outs in Hyde Park!

You know I hate sharing the same name with that guy. Every day I open my Rutgers mail and there are one or two emails saying “you suck Sean Duffy!” Well if they made ME transportation secretary I would have initiated high speed rail but unfortunately I’m not that Sean Duffy 😿.

Thank you for the important work you do! And I agree 100 percent with what you posted about EM…

And the fact that social service agencies often treat people with this diagnosis better than those with intellectual disability or other developmental disorders means the net is cast wider and it appears like there has been a rise in cases rather than a loosening of the nosological category.

This was Glenn Gould’s whole philosophy! His book the Glenn Gould Reader has all his essays on this and is a great read and I entirely agree.

I used to be a huge space fan - read every word Carl Sagan wrote. Now I hope some asteroid hits mars, making moot Musk’s mission.

I’m actually collecting some crowd data but using publicly available live streams that already exist. After my experience with the Olympics bike race near Sacre Coeur (I never saw so many people in my life) I’m taking it easy!

Me too - I was there in South Philly in 2018 and the crowd lined up on broad was 20-30 people deep. I couldn’t even get a good view of the busses the eagles were on because there were so many people. I hope everyone has fun and no one gets hurt. These folks need to stop climbing those poles! 😹

No it’s quite warm actually - 50 degrees F - but we had snow yesterday! Here is a septa train coming in at Rydal station yesterday! But tomorrow is the eagles parade but I’m staying home - those crowds are worse than that concert in Montmartre last June!

Well with all that is going on that’s the least of your problems! If you need a tax guy my parents have used one for decades that is pretty good.

It sucks having the same name as this guy. The only thing I can say is at least my name isn’t Elon musk! 😹

PA not OA. But that’s a great cat who I enjoy following and his owner @franglaise.bsky.social is someone worth following. But Calvin is the best! 😹

I mean the tell all for me was that he was so for transgender rights but it was unclear why. Did he have a family member? No. Did he go to meetings of transgender folks? No. A philosophy? No. I think it was all performative - he realized it would buy him votes.

I always felt uneasy about him. Maybe it was the shorts and hoodie but he always rubbed me the wrong way. And I met him in Philly in 2023 - still something was off. Maybe it was his opportunism. Like why was this guy supporting transgender rights so much? Because he cared or he wanted votes?

Do I think it is crazy that I am mimicking in Philadelphia OA a cat in Bordeaux I never met? Sure, but Calvin is an inspiring cat!
