It's our own fault for electing such aggressively stupid people

You disagree that you can play games without allowing it to define you as a person? Or that defining yourself by the hobbies you enjoy is dangerous and short-sighted?
Because, in case no one has told you this before: You're not the games you play.

What if I told you that you could play games, all day if you want, without linking it to your character and personality. I've never seen a construction worker post on social media "I'm a laborer, I can't help it, admitting it is the first step".
"Admitting" it *is* the problem 🤷♂️

Fwiw, I am a former Intelligence Marine. I got out because the people in charge were incompetent, burning our intel services out of stupidity. These are the people in command of our national secrets. It's mind-numbing.

Intel might save lives short-term, but in the long-term, it'll be our end. Intelligence apparatuses that fall into incompetent hands (nevermind corrupt or evil hands), as the US's have for decades now, are weapons used by the enemy against citizens. AI will only make it worse.

I hope everyone who uses the phrase AAAA (but also AAA) is launched into the sun.
There's no such thing as AAAA. There's not even a such thing as "AAA", most of those games are objectively garbage, they just happened to come from a well-known studio.

Every gamer says this about every sequel. They never listen.

That's because a large number of "Dems" are Republicans in trench coats. Sorry to inform you.

That's what happens when one half of the country can't be trusted to partake in politics.

Not sure it was a big deal to them, ultimately. Could be wrong.

No? I had both Cyberpunk 2077 and BG3 at launch. Cyberpunk was literally unplayable garbage. Bg3 was amazing, even at launch. They're not really comparable, actually.
And, like, complain about Cyberpunk sucking at launch, but why would you complain about them fixing it for free? Illogical, imo.

I mean, I agree that indie devs (me) won't save us, but I disagree that a small team of indie devs can't make what AAA studios make. There ARE games that require large dev resources to make (highly graphical games, games with tons of assets, etc), but that's not most AAA games, imo.

I love that because Windows right-click context menu has gotten so God-awful, we've gone full circle to primarily using keyboard navigation again.

99% of coding issues are only issues because the code doesn't code. Or, to put it another way, the pointer is null and I checked the pointer first. My bad.

I mean, I'm not complaining because at least I'm solving the issues. It's just kind of funny how consistently it works for me.

Sometimes I get solutions to problems I didn't know were problems but not solutions to the problems I do know are problems.

I think it should be like the Purge: on President's Day, whoever eliminates the President becomes the President. Can't be worse than what we've currently got.

I said it was 2D/3D, but the last commit was 2D only. This morning, after not really touching OpenGL before, I finished implementing and am now pushing a commit that enables OpenGL entities (meshes) to be wrapped in a CGEngine Body just like SFML entities (mostly)
Could work for 2.5D games now
