Rewatching Mandalorian, and for the most part I love this show. It’s a stark reminder of how shit The Volume looks though, once you’ve seen through the illusion once. It gives this weird uncanny stage production feel.

GPU crashes can be hard to track down and fix and easier to introduce now with the newer, low-level graphics APIs. This presentation discusses causes and a few options to detect them gpuopen.com/presentation.... Keeping the debug layer clean may not always be enough but it is a good first step.
