Considerate Medusa, three color print on green paper. … I just really wanted to draw happy snakes, I never thought I’d take it this far…

During the pandemic, I discovered doomscrolling at Imgur. Someone there posts #werewolfwednesday art (with links/credit, which is how I discovered some artists on BlueSky). I gotta reach way back, again, to old art to honor this. But I’m gonna follow up with memes from Imgur, too. Fun morning :)

Way back when I might have come across a 12x28-inch frame — I had time and access to digital print equipment to make art JUST for that frame…

Rant: the art shows my 4 partners and I host are the result of 14 years of effort, meetings, long/late nights, and SO MUCH moving of boxes and furniture. If you’re one of our 1,200 artists who feel ownership in these annual events and you think you drive decisions… YOU. DO. NOT. Do your own shows.

Working on art every day was supposed to make this hellish problem better. But fuck that, I guess.

Most recent art being produced for the “BRRRPLE” event. The theme is … the color purple (but I’m adding some artistic messaging about how distinctions of ‘good’ and ‘evil’ are bullshit). As usual I’ll be in a race against time to get films made and print this art. Wish me luck!

Happy Sunday (stealth Monday), typically the worst morning to wake up feeling like a horn-dog. Lets us celebrate this supposed western sabbath with erotica. “Resistance is Beautiful”, three color screen print…

A very old concept, but I was extremely happy with how this amalgamated figure turned out. I’ve made other attempts, but none have turned out as well. The final design? … meh. But these are vector graphics. I can always correct this and build up a screen print.

An ode to oligarchy, 3-color screen print. Extra challenge: that dark blue was the FIRST color printed, with the red and light blue printed semi-opaque on top, creating the darker reds and grey-blue. NOT how I would recommend anyone should screen print, but I got it to work that day.

Deleting Amazon account; done/forever. No more Target/Walmart. Today is a good day, but it’s gonna need to be sustained long after today. This movement needs to match the boycott that helped to end apartheid— and I think we all know why.

A group of us follow @drswitty.bsky.social ‘s principled Project 25:365 — in an effort to “art” in any way, every day. Fortunately, we also have @ericcastellanos.bsky.social ‘s Art Jam, to organize local meet-ups to draw in social support groups. Progress is being made…

“My Little Disaster” — I need to rework the cityscape and break this image down for a screen poster …

Dedicated to bicycle we dredged out of a lake and … just left by a post. No idea what happened to it. It looked like a bike made of mud.

This has been happening on facebook and ig. Lol i’m both happy and a little nervous. Glad people are leaving but i worked really hard to get that fan base. I hope more people follow me here!

UglyBox 4… it’s too much. But there’s no scenario where you’d have to open EVERY compartment anyway. Just keep some specialty stuff on one side, more on the other, and some towards the back. Three hidden compartments included, but seems silly now that “it” is legal in MN. …spectrum what? Fuck you.

I can’t afford what art is worth, so I’m very grateful that some artists expand out so I can at least kick $20 their way (though, half these pins represent support for local shops, too).

I suck at t-shirt printing. Every poster I screw up is $0.25 loss, but every shirt lost is $5, so I just don’t. But @ericcastellanos.bsky.social did a full run of t-shirts of my Zen Cthulhu pieces, and you should go check his site: www.dapperskullcreations.com
