And just like endgame capitalism, the profit/praise must always increase forever. How much you kissed his ass last week won't do anymore. No. You have to suck up even more now, and even more next time. Forever. The instant you fail to outdo yourself, you're the enemy.

Bolton threw around the "Libya Model" as the ideal in Trump's first term, and Bolton's circling around again. Of COURSE Iran feels they need nukes now. For reference, that's the model where a nation gives up nukes, then their head of state gets killed.

It would be better if he were a 3rd grader. Kids ask questions and try to understand more about the new thing. Trump just fixates on his very first kneejerk reaction and then assumes he knows more about it than anyone else in the world and rages at clarification.

There was something funny in that carnie. I had to tilt-a-hurl!

I am imagining a world where we had dozens of AOCs in the House and Senate and zero Fettermans.

It's because evangelicals have a particular cadence, particular way of speaking and praising that is recognizable even if you aren't one. But Trump isn't one and also never listens to people, so he's making it up and it sounds wrong.

He means what he says while he's doing something, like the world's least coherent narrator. But what he said yesterday or what he'll say tomorrow? All bets are off.

And contrary to right wing mythology, children are far more likely to be victims of a religious leader than a trans person or drag queen. 846 cases reported by religious figures. 1 drag queen. 5 trans people.

These are the people that want reparations for the descendants of white slave owners to pay their families back for lost slaves. Of course they don't want to celebrate emancipation.

That's how the GOP runs now. It's just King Trump. slate.com/news-and-pol...

This is a great example of a "Missing Missing Reason" www.issendai.com/psychology/e... A narcissist can be genuinely incapable of hearing or understanding any criticism.

Maybe it if were rocket science, some of them wouldn't explode. Have you tried doing rocket science?

The SC decided I should get viagra, and hair plugs, and testosterone (but only if I am AMAB), and cosmetic surgery to give me a nice square chin. None of that gender affirming nonsense!

Joke's on you! I'm using it as motivation to work on myself, get in better shape, and improve my life! A life well lived shall be my vengeance upon you! Hey look, I'm even culturing a hobby!

Not true. An empowered ISIS is good for Republicans, who can then campaign off of being the only ones that can stop ISIS. Approximately zero redhats will remember who let ISIS grow in the first place.

Question: Would the US actively joining in direct bombing, officially and fully joining into this war, bring us closer to WW3?

Gas isn't cheaper. Groceries are even more expensive. Tariffs were the single largest peacetime tax increase on the American people in the nation's history. Secretary Brainworms is dismantling public health. The invasion of Ukraine hasn't been stopped and a new war is starting. You voted for this.

The Right: Affirmative Action is racist because we believe it enforces quotas based on race even though it does not. Also The Right: We love quotas for deportations of taxpaying, working, legal residents based on nothing but their race.

In theory. In practice, I never even got last month's issue.

I thought the current political climate is that Experience = Bad and we should get in total novices without any clue what they're doing to hold all power and just make a mess of things.

There's no problem that can't be made worse by Trump trying to fix it.

He's just so stupid. It's hard to believe anyone that stupid has even enough power to run a cash register, much less a country.

Tell you what, Mr. Trump President Sir, here's how to get a good nuclear de-proliferation treaty signed: Go hop in a time machine, go to the White House on May 8, 2018, and stop whatever idiot was in the Oval Office at that time from leaving the deal with already had.

Where, exactly? If you don't have an alternative suggestion, then you haven't offered an answer.

So this gives the Federalist Court a chance to enshrine precedent that will be used to harm America, democracy, and human rights for the next century.

I should have bought a car last year. My old 2007 is still running, but it won't run forever and I may not be able to replace it when it dies.

Glorified autocomplete is not AGI. It's not even the same species. No matter how fast you pedal your bicycle, you won't ever make it into orbit. No matter how much processing power, electrical power, and training data you give LLMs, they will still never be more than the "Chinese Room."

Lying, stealing, and adultery are good, because Trump does those. Helping the sick or hungry, learning about things before forming opinions, or having any empathy are bad, because Trump never does those.

So he's doing construction projects to customize the White House to his taste. He doesn't plan to leave. And another "I know [thing] better than anyone alive" boast.

Look, if you aren't 70+ years old, the Democrats don't care what you think. The Dems have a winning strategy of running unknown or unlikable geriatric candidates, then caving to the Republicans and never standing for anything. It hasn't worked yet, but by golly, Senator Cryptkeeper will try again!

So the GOP is soft on crime, got it.

That's a happy consequence for him, but I don't believe he is capable of long term strategic thinking. He hates education because educated people keep telling him he's wrong about things, and he hates being told no. That's it. That's the reason. Burst his narcissistic bubble and pay the price.
