Ah, you an expat too? :)
My partner is a German and moved to Switzerland. He had to lern our dialects too, but nobody is forcing him to speak Swiss German. To understand is enough.

Yes, heat also affects my circulation. You probably didn't drink enough or didn't protect your head? The ozone levels can really get you down too. Better to stay indoors when it's hot ^^"

Here are two pictures of the mountain meadows. The hike first went slightly downhill along a stream, led into a forest and then up a slope again. It was hot there because there was almost no wind! I was so sweating.

More beautiful flowers that delight the attentive eyes of hikers along the way! If the meadows are not overfertilized and extensively cultivated, a variety of flowers and grasses grow on the meadows. A wonderful sight! Such meadows have become very rare.

Trees are so amazing! My favourites are oaks and birches. Some coniferes are cool too. Now I have a little oakling in a pot from a 500 (or so) year old oak. I hope it will make it, I'm never lucky with growing trees.
