I think the important point is to avoid pushing work into the headspace of staff who struggle to not check in the evening. We have a 5.30pm cut. 365 default is 8am so most go with that. I am an early starter so was initially a bit reluctant, but I've lost very little while many have benefited.

With delay send there is no reason for colleagues to be messaging outside of work hours. It's an extra two clicks. We bought this in as a policy over a year ago and there was no cost, zero push back and very quick adoption. People make the odd mistake, but no one minds.

Here is how a student should do based on about 235 minutes of assessments, they sat over 4 days, several years ago. Oh, and depending on where they went to school they may have had wildly different levels of preparation. Targets sadly more often act as a subconscious ceiling as opposed to a floor.
