I hate how "Smart" the Gmail app has become. I feel like it overparses the significance of my mail. Hiding things I want to see, and highlighting stuff I don't care about. I remember when Gmail was simple, easy to use, and not bombarded with ads.

Welp, I got me a Windows Server 2025 license, and hoping that it'll work to host Ark Survival Ascended. It didn't work in Windows 11, well it sorta worked when it wanted to. But now Steam is taking forever to download the game on my client PC so I can't test the server for who knows how long.

Step 1 of my #8BitDo #GameCube controller mod complete, although I'm kinda wondering if I should try to #Retrobright the clear rear shell. I've never done it before, but it is quite yellowed. But it's also the back of the controller, so I wouldn't really notice.

I use an #HDHomeRun network #DVR to record the local news and add them to #Plex to watch whenever I have time. I was curious if there was a similar device, but for #FM #radio. Like, if I wanted to have specific #NPR programs recorded so I can listen later, or stream live local radio to my phone.

Ordered 2 of the #8BitDo #GameCube controller mods. I've never had a wave bird, and this gets the controllers out of storage and into use. #MarioKart Double Dash is my second favorite Mario Kart, and I seem to remember some of the best #MarioParty titles on the GameCube.
