Give the Walking Eagle a dose of his own medicine. He plays the game by making up bullshit and repeating it loudly and frequently so that it might as well be true. Well, two can play at that. See how much he likes it.
Except all you are doing is making that game stronger. The whole point is for people to not know what is real. They sow disinformation on all sides of the political spectrum (the right just falls for it more). You beat them by not allowing disinformation to spread.
Time to make it true. "Walking Eagle" can be another epithet we use instead of soiling our souls by using his given name. It's also suitable for accidental on purpose typos, of course.
There is nothing racist about giving him the name "Walking Eagle" and nothing even remotely racist about why they called it that
It is a definite insult, yes, but it has zero to do with racism. ZERO.
Referring to over 500 separate tribal governments as the βAmerican Indian Nationβ and the concept of bestowing βIndian namesβ on white officials is sorta racist
Itβs a βjokeβ that goes back way further than that. Literally decades. It just keeps getting recycled every time thereβs a new setting president. Members of the public from the opposing party haul this out and replace the name of the president in question.
The thing that remains depressingly the same is that no one questions the premise that any particular president would be condescendingly paternalistic when speaking to Indigenous peoples.
I feel like thatβs an insult to Eagles. Particularly if theyβre already suffering from constipation.
Thatβs the problem with that particular joke. The βgotchaβ is in still using an animal that could be interpreted as being noble. Which is kind of funny if you know anything about bald eagles.
They donβt really have the majestic screams that theyβre often portrayed as using in film, which is usually a red tail hawk sound effect. And while they are certainly effective hunters, like any predator, their priority is on maximizing caloric intake while minimizing effort (caloric output).
Only about 39% of Native Americans voted for the racist conman and convicted felon coup leader in 2024. More than I would have guessed, but a minority nonetheless.
I live in Montana, and the tribes here tend to be more liberal than the other rural voters.
We should try to figure out how the conman got 39% with the Native American πΊπΈ demographic though. Seems absurdly high support for a guy who would deport them if he thought he could get away with it.
I was trying to think of what I could have read and I think maybe it was about the tribes here in AZ prior to the election. The biggest issues is there are no voting polls on the reservations here and that makes voting very difficult. Yes, he does not think they should have citizenship.
There were lots of articles about how Mango Mussolini gained ground in several different minority communities, in 2024.
Misogyny is a possible factor for all other demographics (incl white), but Iβm not sure about this demographic. Native American culture seems a little more complex on this axis.
I can explain; There's a lot of super (unfortunately) racist overly Christian elderly people that were boarding school survivors. These people are also notorious for somehow thinking us and Mexicans are also somehow a different race, it's kind of a wonder around reservations.Anyone under 40 seems ok
I think @lakotaman.bsky.social is here on BlueSky, maybe he has some insight or speculation about how Trump gained ground among the Native American πΊπΈ demographic.
Instead I would suggest Native people who aren't blatant panderers @francesdanger.bsky.social @johnniejae.bsky.social @xodaniwrites.bsky.social @ziibiing.com
Lakotaman causes damage to Natives. He told everyone after roe fell that we could give abortions on reservations since we are sovereign Native Nations (we can't in most cases due to the Hyde Act) and Native women are still being attacked by white women because of his misinformation.
No, the majority of us did not vote for that mandarine. The polling numbers were not accurate. Many of those votes came from the Lumbee tribe(not a real tribe) and self-identified; a small percentage came from tribal voters. The other half did not vote.
Multi-Mara, since I can't post or tag you. Explain why tribes are opposing the Lumbee getting federal recognition. They don't have legitimate ties to other tribes, they don't have a tribal language, and they didn't exist in the pre-colonial era. This is discussed openly among many other Natives.
I asked my father when I was a kid, why grammy called me 'running deer'. He paused. then said 'She's French.'
Confused, but didn't keep asking questions.
Many years later, after her death, he tells me she was not French, but American Indian, and I was very special to her.
I cried for days.π
βA major gathering of the American Indian Nationβ¦β
Total and complete horsehit, as tribes identify by their tribal names and there is no American Indian Nation and itβs racist to lump all Natives into one pot.
On the other hand, the epithet "walking eagle" doesn't have to be of Native American traditional origin to be entirely fitting and appropriate, so let's do this.
Helping his "red" sisters and brothers. Fuck that pal face. And no way in hell should his face be anywhere near the 6 Grandfathers Mountain. Mt Rushmore.
I posted a news story about Trump giving a pardon to former Democrat Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, who was convicted on several federal charges of corruption and fraud. Surprisingly, I've not had any comments full of excuses and butwhataboutisms from Trump's uneducated base.
Come on. I hate the guy, too. But let's not lie like him, especially at the expense of our native American allies. You can just feel the white guy energy in the "dunk"
Sounds like the "Oom Galla Galla" speech, where Trump was greeted with cries of "Oom Galla Galla" after every promise he made. Afterwards, he admired a herd of prize bulls in a field and asked if he could go over and get a closer look. The Chief said, "Yeah, just don't step in the Oom Galla Galla."
For any doubters, see the long legal history and shitshow of what Donald Trump has done to Native Americans including stealing their casinos and then bankrupting them, while still profiting by taking from the employees of them.
Iβm aware that the original meme is fake β my comment about doubters refers to anyone that thinks he isnβt that shitty of a human being, because what I posted about what he has done to native Americans (my family would fucking know), is fact. No one has to like it but their emotions arenβt fact.
I couldnβt remember a time Trump would have spoken to βThe American Indian Nationβ. I do however remember his stupid rant to the Boy Scouts though.
Actually,Trump is regularly full of shit - in his adult diaper usage. Producers of Trump's TV show The Apprentice reveal this fact: in interviews, they state how Trump had a personal assistant help him change his adult diaper often - especially if he got angry on set and intentionally shit himself.
He does smell foul. Many politicians caught on camera noticing his smell and looking so disgusted. Search on YouTube for all the videos. I swear this guy has a contract with The Devil for all the passes he gets from people including his stupid comments and not just his smelly body. Truly disgusting.

I've seen this story only once and that's enough for me to believe it! It's true - It's true. Let it ring throughout the land.
I'm going to use itπ

If he was even invited to speak at a Native event, I'd boo so loud.
Though I like the pettiness of it.
Donβt compare that evil blob with beautiful souls occupying non human bodies. π‘π€
Trump is too evil to consider native Americans American
