Some cryptographic thoughts on breaking 4-digit locks (e.g for lockers) Assuming most people scramble their code after locking to make sure each digit is scrambled, i.e not the code digit. This gives attackers information on the code if they observe multiple scrambles (not a lot!). On the other hand

One cool thing about (classical) simulation of quantum systems, is that you sometimes have to ask yourself “am I allowed to know that?”. Kinda like developing a game with “fog of war”, where the computer opponent is unaware of some things even though the application “knows” the entire state.
