Yeh for sure. The distinciton there matters too... I have no issue with someone using ChatGPT as a tool, but I don't want to be reading something that is clearly just generated by it. I'd find it more informative to just get the prompt you put into it.

It's coming... I've also got postdoc applications with the cover letter clearly GPT output too ðŸ«

Students... I've noticed people on Reddit complaining about it for a while, but now started getting it myself. But really *any* email where it's not a mass email but rather a direct email from someone asking you for something, because we seem to be heading there

I reckon he'll eventually get obnoxious enough that a student will complain about being recorded all the time without real possibility to consent

Argh I trained the algorithm to show me more and each one is worse than the previous 😖

Ah ok maybe I have been over-complicating it in my head 😅

Hmm I don't quite follow what you mean by the coordintes defined orbits, unless you just mean the 0 direction is the coordinate from this vector field and the others just correspond to some orthonormal frame within the hypersurface?

Bloody hell. Well, let's see what happens here... I put the "et al." thing in the corrections and they emailed saying they will not change them and asked me to confirm, and I explicitly told them now that I don't consent to this version. Let's see what happens next 🙃

associate to energy in place of a timelike Killing field, if we want to "subtract" the expansion
And then the real thing that I'm confused by, is that if we have a kind of "obvious" rescaling time translation vector field. Is there an analogue for linear translations to measure a rescaled momentum?

Each statement here is more of a question than a comment.
Comoving observers are those whose velocity vectors are unit normals to the Milne foliation of hyperboloids. That is, the homothetic vector field in Minkowski corresponding to scaling.
We can use them as the right vector field to ...

What's particularly annoying is that is seems like it depends whether the copyeditor you get knows about the field. I can find plenty of examples in the same journal where they don't use this style.

That's crazy. I hate the idea of having my name attached to words that weren't my own in that sense.

Of course there were also plenty of answers to the "what could be improved" too, but I emphasised with them that it's being overhauled and I really appreciate the feedback. Plenty of things here that confirm exactly what I will do next year differently :)

Then he'll continue to make demands that people give in to with the same threat, and eventually leave anyway
