I want to be hopeful that SCOTUS will protect queer kids. I really, really want to be hopeful.

Allies: time to step up & speak out!!

Keep speaking up! Legislators work for us!

Acclaimed filmmaker Paul Feig has announced he will be donating $300,000 to multiple organizations that serve LGBTQ+ youth.

A new analysis by Pen America revealed 36% of the more than 4,000 banned books featured characters of color and 25% included LGBTQ+ people. Today, on National Day of Reading, let’s fight back by celebrating trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive stories. www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/...

Hospital protests have begun for hospitals that are complying with an executive order banning gender affirming care. The order does NOT have the force of law, but some hospital systems are too scared of trump to defend trans kids in their care. This one at UVA Hospital.

The extraordinary amount of hate-filled hype & damaging legislation against such a tiny percentage of the population. Shame on every legislator who has or will vote for laws that hurt these kids.

An amazing role model and brilliant human. I was lucky enough to be in the room with her on one occasion. Grateful.

When the adults are impacted to this degree just imagine what happens to the kids.

Misogyny + queerphobia = hateful

Thank you @thebuckeyeflame.com for lifting up the positive as well as keeping us informed of the harsh realities.

"Gov. DeWine has signed HB 8 when it was opposed by educators and the LGBTQ+ community alike because it punishes teachers and staff for supporting LGBTQ+ students who are already targets of bullying and harassment." via @thebuckeyeflame.com

I’m here to support individuals, organizations & communities to learn about queer identities, to rewire biases (we all have them!), and to incorporate compassion, awareness, respect, and empathy in allyship.
