Go vote, Canada! 🇨🇦 We’re so lucky to have a system that makes it quick and easy! All the info you need is here:

Another successful political debate reaches its zenith.

Here for it.

How about California gets back to us when the US government isn't threatening our sovereignty and US border agents aren't threatening our personal autonomy?

So many choices, but I'm going to go with this House Hippo stuffie that I made from a kit.

I can’t help but notice that Trump has backed off on his 51st state threats ever since Carney strong-armed him as well. That must have been one hell of a phone call.

"To rebel softly is to refuse to be reduced. It is to remain tender in a world that would harden you, to insist on connection where division is sown. It is to plant seeds in the ruins, knowing that even in the shadow of collapse, life finds a way to creep through the cracks and bloom."

Mood.

I feel that the question being presented to Canadian voters in this election is whether we want to be true to Canada’s values or America’s myths.

The thing about the dire wolves (which aren't, but anyway) is we have wolves at home. We are not taking very good care of our current forest dogs so perhaps we should do that before we get any more.

May I offer the first wildflowers of spring in these trying times?

I know it’s spring when the honeybees discover our maple tree. (Volume up for loud buzzing.)

What if everyone waiting for bold action just made a little ripple of peace and care and sustainability right where they are right now with whatever they had at hand?

This right here. Most Canadians are being kind to Americans who travel/live here. We understand people didn't necessarily vote for the guy. But I am exhausted by Americans who complain that we are being unjust to them by boycotting US goods and imposing counter tariffs.

This might be the dumbest day I've ever lived through. Just pure, uncut stupidity.

Hot take: Alberta couldn't separate from Canada even if a majority voted for it. 1) the SCC's Quebec Secession Reference, in important ways, doesn't apply: Albertans are not a 'people' where Qs of self determination or the principle of minority rights (important to the Court's reasons) apply. 1/n

I have officially unlocked the eating-natural-peanut-butter-for-breakfast-because-it's-made-in-Canada level on my Don't Buy American scorecard. Now things are getting serious.

Very curious to see how this works out for the country that invented Walmart, fast food, and dollar stores.

To implement this, in any real way, here’s what a CPC gov’t would have to do: - cancel GBA+ analysis (in place since 90’s, yes through Harper) - fire all Status of Women employees - direct that any DEI objectives be scrubbed from exec performance evaluations 🧵

“could be long-term damage” Too late. The damage has been done and toning down the rhetoric won’t fix it.

Also, most people ABSOLUTELY run their houses and businesses with deficits, when appropriate. You borrow money for mortgages, or start-up costs, or expansions, etc. This is precisely what the country must do.

Prairie skies are such drama queens.

I've lived in Canada for a long time, been married to a Canadian much longer, and now am a Canadian. It can be difficult to explain to Americans that Canadian politeness is both very real and is undergirded by a threat of hair-trigger retaliation for crossing the line. Watch a hockey game.

With so many Canadians looking for ways to buy Canadian and rally behind local businesses, the Government of Canada just launched a new guide for how to 'choose Canada.' 🍁 Check it out! www.canada.ca/en/canadian-...

When does everyone apologize to Frank Graves of EKOS?

Related: It doesn't matter if you fail the first dozen times (or more). Try new things because it's fun. It's not a competition.

Post a warning.

Damn straight.

Former Lethbridge Mayor Chris Spearman is running for the federal Liberals in Lethbridge. Spearman was Mayor from 2013 to 2021 and has been an outspoken opponent of the UCP’s plans to allow open pit coal mining in the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains.

Remember Canada POLLS don't VOTE Only you can make Canada stronger, by voting for democracy, human rights, peace and freedom #VoteLiberal #Canada #FederalElection #cdnpoli 🍁
