Ok, so in all honesty, this isn't my first quilt, but it is the first quilt I finished once I re-discovered quilting in 2018 ( I pieced 1.5 tops in college). And of course convinced my husband that I could finish a quilt (yeah for quilting by check!). (Continued in comments) 🍇🍑 #Quiltsky #quilting

Day 3 of QuiltCon - looking through highlights. Other than curves, wedge quilts are also dear to my heart. There are several wedge quilts that caught my eye this year; I love the long, sweeping freehand cuts in the first two (even if freehand cutting isn’t in my wheelhouse 🌟YET🌟). CONT #quiltsky

I started my day out teaching Planning Improv with Dramatic Negative Space to a room full of fabulous quilters. We got our creative juices flowing, and learned how to math the math so they all have the tools to design their own improv wedge quilts. I can’t wait to see their designs! #quiltsky
