They absolutely nailed Chopper, and I am so relieved. They got all of his little mannerisms down, and he even has his little iron brace on his antlers. The care with which the OPLA team handles the series continues to be impressive-- now I'm *really* champing at the bit for S2.

Watching the anime after the live action, I can confidently say they kept all the character quirks and story beats that needed to be there; some things get condensed but it doesn't change the story at all. I'm biting the bars for season 2, especially after the chopper reveal.
