As someone who's just beat the game on horn, I can assure you there is no shortage of either unga or bunga when using it.

I've begun to realize that negative steam reviews that are like "SUCKS and TOO SLOW" paired with several paragraph positive reviews a foolproof sign that I'm gonna love it

War is a hell of a lot less about having a hundred big and strong guys and a hell of a lot more about having a couple thousand guys fed, armed, and supported from as many angles as you can manage.

Yo what's the name of that mod, that sounds amazingly confusing

the moe moe kyun is a remarkably powerful tool on gruff/soulless/devoid of whimsy characters. I've used it on my husk of a merchant and it works wonders when people dig thru his cabinets and ask why he has a maid outfit

Sort of like a largely benevolent natural disaster. Generally worth paying attention to, but probably worth staying very far away from, and every time they're in the news insurance premiums go up. He does like hitting the markets they constantly open up, tho. Good growth away from the syndicate

esme is single handedly keeping the Ul'dah drug runners alive after the WoL has slammed through its seedy underbelly fifteen or so times

as someone who plays multiple guy blorbos, I think 'liked/tolerated by the lesbians' is quite possibly the highest writing award one can achieve

Sadly for The Protagonist Of Monetarism I think the pity only comes in if he knows her attempts at egalitarianism through monetarism. otherwise it depends on if/how fast he smells a rat, and hed get nervous quick if shes openlu monetarist. I think they'd have fun trying to crack each other, though
comment in response to post
oooo engagement bait. First impressions would largely be the usual silent disdain he reserves for monetarists, coated in saccharine smiles and politeness. Depending on how much he knows of Esme ahead of time, that might shift to either bemusement, pity, or possibly both.

the ghost of starlight past, present, and future who all look like yotsuyu in a desperate attempt to get through to her (they fail yearly)

my character sometimes has the personality of a sack of wet grain so secrets are the hook I use to pull people more neurotic places, but damn it is hard not to yap away the entire character when I love chatting with the folks I write with

sorry to report but he's the world's most pathetic manboss and is only on a path to healing bc everyone in his life has bullied him in the right direction

great read, and I'm floored at how similar she is to my own raen. very interesting to see a similar story through a slightly tilted lens
comment in response to post
you may think this character is about commodifying the self but it's really about how the peak of life is to live with weird roommates who make less money than you and smell like three day old shrimp
comment in response to post
in my own head they haven't filled in the gaps yet because it takes years of auditing to find who is actually the next richest people in Ul'dah and naturally everyone is inflating their numbers to get that spot so Ul'dah is experiencing unparalleled levels of accounting fraud rn

she shows up in my head and i have to shake her around like a pebble in my empty skull so she stops trying to sell me east aldenard trading company bonds. In all seriousness, it's been fun seeing someone else's approach to Ul'dahn mercantilism, especially on the more abjectly evil side!

I fear "she's an anthro namazu" is something I am never going to get out of my head when thinking of esme now

if Raubahn can pull himself up by his bootstraps to the syndicate, than so can esme! surely!

fluff is the easy one but I think the teef deserve a mention as well. Not c'vette without chompers
comment in response to post
furthermore you have to reckon with the fact that a key economical figure is Godbert Fucking Manderville and one member of the syndicate is just fucking dead with no resolution. I love it
comment in response to post
absolutely adore seeing someone go down the route I did with making an ul'dahn merchant Char in realizing the fun of having disdain/fear at every single merchant who's tangentially related to the scions

I gotta ask, is the pirate name deliberately a reference to Wheel of Time?
