Expect to see more of this - Democratic Party members attempting to triangulate towards the right, to find policy initiatives that their donors will back that are still red meat to the right wing base. These are people seeking to protect their own power and privilege, not to serve their voters.

1. The Trump administration is about to release it's own anti-science "Cass Review," a sham review with pseudoscience that will be used to justify sweeping crackdowns on trans care in the United States. No experts are involved in its drafting. Subscribe to support my journalism.

The Trump administration is quietly drafting a bold new policy for combating terrorism that targets a wide range of perceived foes, from Tesla vandals to protesters, intelligence sources tell me. www.kenklippenstein.com/p/trump-team...

it's not looking good folks

“[The SAVE Act] would seriously impede the convenience that people have come to count on and the operative concept that registration should be easy for voters,” @justinlevitt.bsky.social , Loyola Marymount University law professor, explains.

What a grim paragraph www.nytimes.com/2025/04/10/u...

I'm sorry.... THE FUCK?!?!?!

the argument that AI might be useful to leftist causes is a catastrophic misdiagnosis of the problem. we do not lack for leftist text and images, we lack people who want to engage with it. making more and worse #content addresses nothing.

Thought crimes, anyone?

BREAKING: In a 220-208 vote, with four Democrats voting in favor, the House passes the SAVE Act, a bill that could strip voting rights from millions of Americans. From: @jaknutson.bsky.social

in colombia, the murder of a trans woman is sparking national outrage and words of protest from the nation’s prime minister in the u.s. meanwhile — where a trans rights activist was murdered only weeks ago — we barely even covered news of the death

At this point, the Democratic Party must be seen as fully complicit in Trump's agenda and crimes. If they wished to oppose him, they would. They do not. They wish to allow everything he does to happen, while hoping to avoid the blame. This will fail.

Liberals really don't understand that a lot of people, not just the fringe "online left", see Democrats as part of the problem, as fully complicit. And until they start to address that rather than dismissing it, they're going to keep losing. And they don't seem to care

This is driving me crazy too. Not long ago 10% universal tariffs were considered the worst-case scenario, something even Trump wasn’t crazy enough to impose. Now have those PLUS 125% tariffs on China. Together, these raise raise inflation by about as much as original “Liberation Day” tariffs did!

1. Trump has officially defunded school lunches in Maine for kids and disabled adults because of transgender people. Trump is holding the funds hostage and will allow kids to go hungry unless Maine discriminates. The latest from S. Baum. Subscribe to support our journalism.

who wants to go to Maine and cook some lunches?
