Ugly bag of mostly water. W/ a tendency to obsess (especially about stories taking place in ships). Probably ND. Leftist, exhausted, depressed and anxious but still full of hope for a better world. Mainly random thoughts and rants Typos 🐸in🥩land 🧜‍♀️🖖☕🫖🏴‍☠️🏳️‍🌈🦄🛌😾

She remembered McCallum from the man from U.N.C.L.E which I didn't even know had been broadcast in France, must have been before my birth.

The way she could remember David McCallum's name and call the character by the actor name but we talked of Buster only by referring to him as "Chekhov"

Anyway, I don't know if this is going to turn into WW3 or not but I don't think it needs to to be a bad thing. It's bad when people are bombed, even if we're not affected or drafted into it.

I saw it too and I got the Swede.

That said I am super uncomfortable on the Idea that there is a way of measuring statistical probability of sexual attraction.

Anyway the podcast is really interesting, even though I retained a fraction of everything that was said because brain. It's money on the left episode from yesterday "jaws at 50: birth of the neoliberal block"

Like when Trump puts on tariffs because if we buy more than we sell we loose because in his mind the buyer is the looser and the seller is the winner I just can't understand. (And it's nothing to say that imports is actually a way to externalise bad job and pollution)

Last time she went voting (last year) she on purpose wore the palestinian flag colours and she told me the other day she did it again just because.

I knew for the US, I didn't realised for England. Interesting. I wonder what French protestants would have to say on the way they are treated in France. Historically I know there has been some massacres and oppression during the religious war but since the revolution I actually don't know.

When I was watching my lady Jane I felt a bit uneasy about the representation of Elizabeth and Edward Vs Mary but i didn't know if it was just half remembered fact or not. It's funny how centuries old PR/Propaganda still affects how we see the past

The clay tablet approach is "imagine we found the text in 3000 years w/ no knowledge of the author or extra texts" what stays.

So the bloody thing comes from catholic having lost then?

Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to exonerate her for Protestant persecution. I just never studied Tudor history so don't know the details but think I heard of Catholic persecutions under Edward and Elizabeth, maybe Henry VIII (?)
