Even when I consider someone a really good friend I have still a reflex of thinking"why?" When they tell me I am a friend or that they like me. And the rare time I recognise flirting an alarm ring in the back of my brain making me wonder how much is this a prank to make fun of me for believing it.

I know it's normal for my weight to stabilise, it's how body work and why diet don't. I also know there is no moral good in weight loss and thinness but it's hard to fight against the unending tide of cultural messaging.

I was lucky enough to never have any eating disorder and never obsess with diets and weight loss until now but I am afraid to develop one.

Having been unemployed and resting from burn out these last few months also mean that I got my appetite back (with a vengeance) and I know it's good and sign of better health but I hate myself for having been used to see my weight decrease and now being upset at it either stabilising or going up.
