I've completed "Claw Contraption" - Day 13 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/13. Loved part 2 even though couldn't find out the idea myself. When computer science fails but mathematics saves the day!!

I just completed "Garden Groups" - Day 12 (PART-1)- Advent of Code 2024. Couldn't solve part 2, didn't find any algorithm that is not messy. Maybe will give part 2 a try later!! #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/12

"Code should run as fast as necessary, but no faster; something important is always traded away to increase speed." -- Richard E. Pattis Something to keep in mind before rewriting in a "faster" language.

I just completed "Plutonian Pebbles" - Day 11 - Advent of Code 2024. First problem of this year which forced me to apply further optimization. Loved it! #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/11

I just completed "Hoof It" - Day 10 - Advent of Code 2024. Might be the easiest one this year! Could optimize more, but didn't feel the urge to do so as the size of the input was comparatively small! #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/10

I just completed "Disk Fragmenter" - Day 9 - Advent of Code 2024. Well, wasn't it a complicated one!! #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/9

I just completed "Resonant Collinearity" - Day 8 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/8

#blogvent Day 7 is done! Wrote about solving #AdventOfCode Day 7 with recursion: www.bytesizego.com/blog/aoc-day...

I just completed "Bridge Repair" - Day 7 - Advent of Code 2024. For me, easiest one of 2024 till now. #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/7

I just completed "Guard Gallivant" - Day 6 - Advent of Code 2024. Part 2 was challenging, at least to me. And my solution runs in 1m22s! Compared to others, a very unoptimized solution indeed! Will try to find a better solution #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/6

If you're curious what it takes to build and run #AdventOfCode every year, you might enjoy this talk: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZ8D...

I've completed "Print Queue" - Day 5 - Advent of Code 2024. My Solution: github.com/r8025n/Adven... #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/5

I just completed "Ceres Search" - Day 4 - Advent of Code 2024. Couldn't find a better approach for part 1 than the naivest one, any suggestion is always welcome. #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/4

I just completed "Mull It Over" - Day 3 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/3

Well researched and insightful!

I just completed "Red-Nosed Reports" - Day 2 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/2

AOC day 1 in Golng! Was simple compared to day 1 of 2023! #AdventOfCode

AOC, Zed editor and Golang as my go to programming language-what a great start to my December!!

I just completed "Historian Hysteria" - Day 1 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/1

Anyone participating in #AdventOfCode this year? Couldn’t finish it last year, but fingers crossed for this time! Last year it was python, planning to go with Go this time. Godspeed, fellow joiners!

Did you know there’s a site to search for starter packs of people to follow? Built by @mubashariqbal.com blueskydirectory.com/starter-pack...

I've created an initial Grumpy Machine Learners starter park. If you think you're grumpy and you "do machine learning", nominate yourself. If you're on the list, but don't think you are grumpy, then take a look in the mirror. go.bsky.app/6ddpivr

The RL (and some non-RL folks) starter pack is almost full. Pretty clear that the academic move here has succeeded go.bsky.app/3WPHcHg

I made a thing! I was playing around with the AT protocol and as a little experiment I made a website that visualises activity around Bluesky: nightsky.hctr.dev It listens to all new posts and shows them as little stars across a night sky 🌃 Every star is someone, somewhere, posting something

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #2,345,881!

I am no hater or anything but finally a tech platform where there are posts about topics other than AI or LLM!!
