Maybe I’m misreading it but the author seems to be much more attacking the real US for being too racist to elect a black president, too misogynistic to elect a woman, and too shitty to elect someone heroic with principles.
Also most of their complaints are a shit plot and bad writing.

Update: I’m blaming you that I spent most of my lunch break today crying at the season finale.
