Who would have a kid for $5k when there is not paid parental leave and child care is more than a mortgage so if you have a job you lose money. If you don’t have a job you either rely on your spouses benefits or the government is cutting your benefits so you might be bankrupt from the delivery.

This may be your personal experience but isn’t true. I know many that regret their vote for non personal reasons. They’re victims of a trillion dollar, decades long propaganda campaign. Even if they’re late, they are on the right side.
