Yess, bc his whole life has taught him that everyone he loves will eventually leave him. He was the first being to ever have attachment issues, bro literally invented them. So ofc he holds on too tight

also notably some depictions have the apple with 3 seeds instead of 4. I've seen speculation that the missing seed represents Lilith leaving, so the apple is like the Morningstar family. but this just makes me wonder why were there 4 seeds in the first place then??
