In 1982 it was deemed "historically significant as one of two churches still in existence in Idaho with a predominantly black congregation", when the congregation was about 150. africanamericanheritagesites.stqry.app/en/story/44535

2/23: The St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Boise, Idaho is a historic Baptist church founded in 1909. The church was built by church members, including William Riley Hardy, Idaho's first Black pastor. πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Didn't I tell y'all about #Idaho? If states are laboratories of democracy, Idaho's the laboratory of fascism. Always has been. Radicalruss.com/idaho #BoycottIdaho

Ok, there's a reason. Thank you.

P.S. their undoing is when the amorphous "they" that they each think they're superior to turns out to be some of them to the others. The Tech Bros think the Bible Thumpers are NPCs. The Oligarchs just milk the Tech Bros. The Nazis despise the brown Tech Bros. Churchy thinks they're all sinners. Etc.

When you believe such a thing, democracy makes no sense. It says the judgment of a million fools outweighs the judgment of a wise man. That whole "consent of the governed" thing is illogical when there's a superior better equipped to make your choices for you. ✊🏻

Supremacy is what connects their coalition. The Bible Thumpers believe they are the Chosen and the rest Sinners. The Tech Bros believe they are John Galt and the rest NPCs. The Nazis believe they are the Master Race and the rest Mud People. The Oligarchs believe they Won and the rest Lost. πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Aw, thanks! Sweet of you to reply. 🀟🏻 I'm for a capitalism where any publicly traded company is mandatorily unionized, and executive compensation is capped relative to labor costs.

Agreed. But I always wonder what people mean when they say, "I'm a capitalist." Like, we're *for* the concentration of wealth in the hands of an ownership class benefiting from the exploitation of labor? Or we're for working for a living at a fair wage? Or we're against whatever socialism is?

2007–2009, I was on satellite radio, bashing George W. Bush for warrantless wire tapping and running Guantanamo. Then Obama won, and I was bashing him for warrantless wire tapping and running Guantanamo. I was soon off of satellite radio.

10am Mountain, yes. Turn on ch 7 on SiriusXM, then use #AT40 in your posts. Then, use the search to look up everyone else's #AT40 posts. VoilΓ‘, you've just mastered a hashtag experience. You could do the same thing with, say, #crochet. Also, when you see a hashtag, you can just tap it to search it.

And right after I posted this, Dratch was Baba Wawa. Impeccable. She's stealing #30Rock for me.

Gee, you think that with so much dissatisfaction with the Democrats and the Republicans at this point in time, those third parties that I always see pop up every presidential election year would be organizing now to steal from both of them a significant amount of voters?

Well, yeah, it's a lot easier to have the undesirables just die in their own homes than to have to round them up and put them in camps for extermination.

I rewatched Joe Biden's September 1st, 2022 speech, where he was warning about the fascist threat of "MAGA Republicans." Joe made a point of saying not all Republicans are MAGA. He knew, because he had worked with them. I thought, yeah, Joe, they were segregationists then, too.

This is that scene in Office Space when the two Bobs show up to ask everybody what they do in the company all day to figure out which ones they can sack, isn't it?
