My mom had one of these and it went great, gave her lots of relief. They’re so much better at this stuff now than in decades past. It’ll be worth it! 💪

why is that

somewhat beside the point, but this level of legal analysis would, in law school, earn you "interesting argument, but your analysis is lacking" C- grade. to paraphrase to old joke: "what do they call the person that graduates last in their law school class? Your Honor."

forever missing Pop-Pop. never met him but he was maybe the funniest writer on earth (complimentary).

At a certain point you have to ask whether they just prefer being the opposition party since it makes their personal lives easier (no power -> no expectation to get anything done)? They certainly show no signs, as a group, of wanting to accomplish anything meaningful.

Agreed. It's a disservice to the audience to present those two pieces of information side by side with no context. If everyone was doing what Elly's been doing the Reds would be hammering the NL Central. If not for him and a couple other guys (plus bullpen), they'd be the Rockies (or worse).

I'm no expert, but I think there are a lot of people in Reds Country who convinced themselves that EDC would hit .350+ while making zero errors and, because that hasn't happened by May 15, they're talking about his performance compared to an invented strawman version of EDC. Unfair!

There’s at least one play every game that looks like the player has never even seen a baseball game before. How can this keep happening so many years in a row?

I recall a better vision for the future in which technology would liberate us from toiling, allowing us more leisure time and enjoyment during our lives and not just a brief remote period of retirement. Now the entire pitch is that it does the "easy" work so you can do exclusively "hard" work. Fun!

Agree. And yet my co-counsel on the case is basically urging me not to mention it to the judge because it’s too messy and they see an “easier” path to dismissing on the merits. Fortunately, I can report to state bar counsel regardless but the cowardice of my co-counsel has shocked me greatly.

Sheduer is probably who Mel Kiper’s been yipping about all night.

I worry the users are too often people who don’t understand the limitations. I’m an attorney and this week I caught opposing counsel citing TWO entirely fictional cases for points of law that do not exist. All he had to do was proofread his AI written motion and he just…..didn’t!

perhaps not coincidentally, the current facebook user base was not actively using the platform during that window.

I could barely get to 10. Some of those names feel totally made up (to my brain). A pretty grotesque lineup with a few bright spots.

Shek, you’ve done it again.

Running this by my wife as a test of her love. 🤞

The comments are some of the most resistance-pilled contrarian weirdos imaginable. A perfect Bluesky experience: why agree this ice cream tastes good when we could instead argue about sprinkles?

I’m a Titans fan who already subscribes to Peacock so having to watch Titans games is an appropriate punishment for my various life choices.

NO this isn’t important but YES I’m mad about it anyway.

I’m sure the very principled genius will take this same position in every corporate bankruptcy where an X account is involved and it’s not that this one is for some reason especially one of those the other one near and dear to his heart (?).

I simply love watching my favorite referees being the stars of the show every week. It’s why I love this game. It’s why I keep coming back.

they don’t know what they’re looking at, they just know it’s insulting to libs because ~vibes~

Unrelated to the post but thanks for coming over here. You were the only reason I kept an account at the other place. Keep up the great work.
