If anything I feel I've got less conservative as I got older. I was a beneficiary of Whitlams free university but suspect I took it for granted at the time. These days I appreciate what it meant to me and wish everyone had the same opportunity.

I saw the ad and this is a less than subtle plot to attempt to was Sandilands character as is his appearance on that talent show. Don't listen to what he wants you to hear but remember him for his actions.

I was commenting on poor politicians getting power because people don't vote. As to genocide I've seen nothing from the current administration that does anything but support the genocide being perpetrated by Israel

I was one of those from a poor rural background who went to uni 1974-1978. Without free education and TEAS I wouldn't have been able to afford to go. Remember the first year I had a job with my degree, I paid more tax than my parents earned that year.
