Conflation of anti-semitism and anti-zionism has been the position of the organized political advocacy arm of the jewish state for some time now, and while I understand it's a position that you share, it is not one shared by most Americans. Anti-zionist speech should be separated from hate speech.

I think if you're going to say there is a rise in antisemitic incidents you also have to acknowledge there is a rise in what is considered an antisemitic incident.
There has been a massive spike in anti-zionism, for sure, but despite protestation to the contrary I do not believe these are the same.

They didn't lose their job.
And if you think putting in effort to diversify your workplace hurt sales of the game, you're a fucking idiot.
p.s. the word you're looking for is "expected".
Adults don't care about these things. Only children. 👼

He already has. Here's an article and an entire podcast about it:

The thing you're concerned about is already occurring and will continue occurring. It is exactly what it looks like.

He didn't lose anything. He became president. A job he's not even legally eligible for.
Hard to put a price on that.

The sad thing is, it ended up being worth it for his political goals.

@scaramucci.bsky.social have you seen the "Adrian Dittman" alt account nonsense? It's so wild but so sad at the same time. I tuned in to "Dittman's" show on X tonight and literally heard Laura Loomer call him Elon by accident, causing him to throw a lil tantrum on the livestream.

You're right, I had forgotten that POE1 was updated with a turn-based mode and that POE2 was toggleable between each. That said, I've always heard that The game isn't balanced very well or much fun in turn-based mode. Would you agree?

Not a turn based RPG.

It is generally agreed by scholars of the craft that Jagged Alliance 2 is the peak of the tactical RPG genre for a number of reasons too numerous to name in 300 characters. In this case, I am in agreement with the scholars. Its sequel, released last year, is fantastic as well.

There is a difference between someone saying something is true, and it being true. Just because someone has a convenient framework to explain how the world works, doesn't mean that framework is real.
Sometimes the real world is more complex than we'd like it to be.

Okay dude. I don't even know what is happening at this point.
Feminism and communism are completely unrelated. They aren't just two different ideologies, they are two separate spheres of ideology. It's like comparing geometry and history. Responding seems pointless.

I've heard no such thing other than one guy on twitter telling Avellone he maybe had grounds to sue (which is unconfirmed, and frankly not correct imo).

Excuse you. I do not have an ideology of any kind related to this. Do not put words in my mouth. I have not expressed an ideology nor a political opinion. I am frustrated by the lack of education on what racism is and the vitriol expressed toward this person. But I am not partisan.
comment in response to

I'm not for any of those things.
I'm for you recognizing the difference between racism and discrimination, and for accepting the fact that this guy is allowed to answer whatever DMs he wants because it's not illegal and not reflective of a "hiring practice".

You have been misled about the definition of the term racism.

That is how racism works. It's not one group discriminating against another, it's a societal structure where one group is privileged over another. In western countries, that's white people. Sorry if that hurts your fee fees, but that's just facts.
comment in response to
post
first of all, it's not racist. Look up the definition of racism in a dictionary. It's discrimination of a kind, sure, but by definition it is not and can't be racist.
And yes, I would be saying it was racist if he was prioritizing whites. Because white people are in a position of power in society.

NOTHING IN THERE IMPLIES THAT you weirdo.
He's saying he'll prioritize replying to DMs from underrepresented minorities trying to break into the industry because he wants it to change.
That's not illegal. That's not unethical. It's not a "hiring practice". It's not "denying someone a career".
comment in response to
post
He doesn't say anything like that. He said his DMs were open to minorities looking to break into the industry. Your intentional misinterpretation of his offer reveals your hatred and intolerance. Grow up. Offering to help people in your personal DMs isn't illegal, and it's not discriminatory hiring.
comment in response to
post
Reminder that there's nothing in his statement about hiring anyone, dumbfuck.
comment in response to

How does what he said remotely imply that? Like wtf dude. We have to live in reality here. At no point did he say or imply anything like that.
comment in response to
post
this vitriol is insane. This is what happens when you say your DMs are open to give people who don't look like you career advice and point out that your industry is way too homogenous.
This response, fueled by the worlds biggest tweeter, is just embarrassing.
