They were Reagan Democrats, to the last man. The Southern Strategy never ended and the Democrats adopted their own version of it with Clinton.

I mean, they have always been a right wing party. Always. They were founded as a far right wing party on a single white supremacy issue. They moved toward the center and were able to parlay civil rights into a different party make up and platform, but still right wing. Reagan would love them now.

"Faulty app" says who?
Literally nothing new was constructed. Existing fenceline was repaired and maintained. You are now moving from childish false equivalence to active disinformation.

Because your life will get worse if you don't. That's why.
It's so simple a child could understand it, but given how childish the protest voters are, maybe that's not quite true.

Trump made things worse. Harris would not have made things worse. It doesn't get any simpler than that and the evidence is all around you and on a daily newsfeed, as literally the whole world can witness and agree on.
I'm angry because there are people in this country who are still making excuses.

If Hogg can make the Democrats shift left, I would even consider joining them, instead of just holding my nose and voting them for the purpose of holding the line against the fascists.

They weren't important because those non-voters didn't bother to get off their asses and cast a vote and make their preference for outcomes known.
They sat back and let others do the heavy lifting and decision making.
comment in response to
post
Conducted their hearings, you say?
He constructed no border wall.
Biden was not the same as Trump. Non-voters bear a significant portion of the blame for Trump winning.
comment in response to
post
They lost because single-issue voters are cowards who used Palestinians as human shields for their weakness. Not voting was the same as casting a vote for Trump since the breakdown of voters was shifted for Harris and still is.
comment in response to
post
Show me where Biden left the "put CPB on horseback with whips" policy in place.
Show me where the "send women with children to Mexico without their children" police was left in place.
comment in response to

They didn't make those issues worse. They didn't dramatically shift to White Christofascist Nationalism. Again, the outcomes are not even close to equal.
comment in response to
post
No, on all of those and a whole host of other issues.
comment in response to
post
That's entirely incorrect and false. The outcomes would not have been the same. Nor was that the only issue to be considered by an informed voter. And the other issues an informed voter should have been considering would have differed in outcome even more dramatically, almost historically so.

I have no patience for whiners and the DNC has been a bunch of whiners for literally all the decades of my life.
Mealy-mouthed "compromise" with the neo-libs who have to fund a multimillion dollar study to stick their finger in the air and see which way the wind is blowing aren't worth the effort.

Meanwhile, another person seeing the same fight not only provides the bat, but also starts holding the victim down, picking their pockets, and erasing their records of ever having existed, including their house, car, and personal possessions.
Trump and Harris were not equal outcomes.
comment in response to
post
Here's the thing: sitting back would have STILL been preferable to actively participating in/encouraging/literally ghoulishly profiting from it. And it's far from the single issue that an informed voter needed to think about.
Now National Guard troops are landing in LA. Would Harris have done that?
comment in response to
post
You mean apart from her prior statements echoing a longstanding position on a two-state solution being the eventual goal? You mean aside from all that? Or are you just naively going to assert that Harris would have assisted Israel in "cleaning out" Gaza, as Trump literally said with his word hole?
comment in response to
post
ROFLMAO, that's some bullshit right there since Elmo routinely deleted or silenced anyone who critcized him, including and especially journalists.
Face it, you lied and just got caught.
comment in response to
post
Also, it's not judgmental to point out that hecklers doing what Trump did, trying to overtalk the black lady who was speaking at the time, are equally idiotic.
comment in response to
post
So did Trump and didn't. So, you are saying both outcomes of Trump and Harris are 100% equal and thus it's ok to not vote for the lesser of two evils and thus give the greater evil a better chance.
I vote for outcomes, not people. The outcome under Harris would have been better and for more people.
comment in response to
post
Sure you did, which is why you are making apologetics for the simpering sniveling cowardly pieces of shit who didn't vote.
I'm not a Democrat, chuckles. I hate you fucking right wingers, Democrats or Republicans, but the Democrats are the only opposition party we have right now. Some of you.
comment in response to
post
You mean the people who were trying to overtalk and interrupt her while she was speaking?
Seriously, if that's the kind of butthurt that they are using to justify their cowardly apathy, they deserve even worse than they already do.

It's literally not hard. Trump has proclaimed that Gaza needded to be "cleaned out". He talked openly about shipping Palestinians around the world and emptying the region out so he could make it into a tacky White Christofascist Nationalist Las Vegas strip.
That's literally 100X or more worse.
comment in response to
post
Cool story, so you were cool sitting at home knowing that the other outcome was FAR WORSE than the one you could have put in and had at least a chance of the US working toward a two-state solution (as was her position). You were cool running that risk because "muh protest vote is more important".
comment in response to
post
Because the other outcome was Trump policies and that was preferable or less worrying?
comment in response to
post
Yeah, that's not actually the issue because those same people knew (or should have known if they were as informed as they claimed) that Trump would 100x worse for Gaza.
I guess the protest voters have that much in common with Hamas: both use Palestinians as human shields.
