Unbelievable

You look at the Tories, Reform and the rightwing press after the Brexit reset and you see just how mad they are. Genuinely frothingly insane. Desperate to insist that their Brexit moronathon is a win. Spitting with rage at their own failure. This sums them up… www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Brexit hasn't been betrayed. The British people have not been betrayed. The betrayal was Brexit. Once that is the established narrative, we can all go forward together.

The U.K. fishing industry - weaponised & then betrayed & then abandoned, by Johnson, Farage & the rest of them - is better off under Starmer’s deal than it was under Johnson’s. That’s not an opinion. It’s counting. Anyone claiming otherwise is a liar.

Farage cries betrayal over access to fish stocks. But NEVER FORGET he stood down hundreds of Brexit Party PPCs to help Johnson win big in 2019 and it was Johnson who negotiated the access. There's no change to access, just an extension on existing deal for 12 years. If it's on anyone, it's Farage

Another deeply pathetic and tedious tantrum from Tory failures and our right wing media. Brexit is wholly dishonest, horrendously costly and relentlessly crap. The ‘freedoms’ are worth very very little compared to the restrictions. There is nothing to ‘betray’ except our futures and our prosperity.

Yesterday I played the call of a female cuckoo on a Bluetooth speaker to a male cuckoo who was nearby and now the bloody thing won’t leave our garden. It woke us up at 5.30 this morning and has been calling all day. Clearly the bird has no sense of humour !

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you a deranged, painted nut job. The man who is allegedly making America great. The man with only the most important matters on his mind …

Putin is no Peter the Great

The appalling animal welfare in the US makes for grimly bad produce. No we dont want US food.

French radio this morning. France needs 300,000 immigrants per year to ensure continuity of services in tech, health, construction, research. etc. Without it, everyone will suffer. Interesting contrast with current UK govt.

Labour has a whopping great majority and four years left to turn this country around. They should be setting the agenda, not chasing about trying to placate voters of a party with five MPs who will never vote for them anyway. It's not only disappointing... it's embarrassing

The more European leaders hit the mark in calling out Russia, the more outrageous Russian propaganda.

It would be nice to have a political party that you vote for for positive reasons rather than getting the Tories out or stopping Reform.

Medvedev - ever the polite diplomat… “Macron, Merz, Starmer, and Tusk were supposed to discuss peace in Kyiv. Instead, they are blurting out threats against Russia … You think that’s smart, eh? Shove these peace plans up your pangender arses.”

WTAF ????????????

The India deal is set to deliver a 0.1% boost to the UK’s economy by 2040, equivalent to £4.8bn - more than the Tories' Japan, AUS & NZ deals combined. But a common sense deal with the EU could deliver 22 times that.

The corruption of Trump is like nothing this country has ever seen before. In our history, Trump is the first president who truly believes he is above the law and is enriching himself in an unprecedented manner. What we are witnessing typically only happens in dictatorships. 😳👇

Reminiscent of the German speaking Czechs in Sudetenland …. Hmmm. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

Buttock clenchingly awful

After asset stripping England water companies warn of rationing. 35 reservoirs sold for £26m profit. Southern Water plan to decommission 43 of 93 reservoirs, build one. 1 trillion litres lost through leaky pipes. Companies have 1,135 criminal convictions. End the privatisation scam.

A couple of days of sunshine followed by water rationing warning by England's water companies. Water shortage in an island surrounded by sea No new reservoirs since privatisation. Inflation-busting annual bills, excessive dividends, sewage in rivers. Must end privatisation. archive.ph/uLwMM

Is this the first of the last of us ?? Denmark’s museum objects at risk from ‘extreme’ new mould, say conservators | Denmark | The Guardian

Nigel Farage has clarified the situation with regard to which flags can be flown on Reform run council buildings. As well as the Union Jack and St George’s flag, it will of course be OK to fly the Russian flag.

The BBC: It's the 80th anniversary of the defeat of fascism in Europe. We'll have a week of programming celebrating this momentous occasion Also the BBC: Here's Nigel Farage for the 4000th time telling us why immigrants are subhuman scum

Absolument ça 👇👇👇

You’d not think this from British media reports. Reform has a tiny share of local councils.

Starmer needs to cancel the state visit he is offering for this narcissistic clown.

LIBERTY DEFEATS GOVERNMENT APPEAL AS COURT RULES ANTI-PROTEST LAWS ARE UNLAWFUL The government must now scrap these unlawful regulations before anyone else is wrongly arrested for protesting for simply standing up and making themselves heard on issues they care about

The Tories and Labour have done more than anyone to assist the rise of Reform. Apart from the BBC. All in all it’s been a heroic collective effort to drive the country into the beneficent embrace of fascism.

While he is largely irrelevant at present, it is notable that the language of Shadow Lord Chancellor Robert Jenrick is nearly identical (if less illiterately expressed) in his ongoing personal attacks on individual judges. A disturbing trend for the rule of law.
