I'm an autistic Canadian. I was able to educate my MP about autism. When a colleague of his was accused of sexual harassment, some folks tried saying, "Maybe he's autistic and doesn't understand what he's doing wrong." My MP immediately pushed back and said autism isn't an excuse for that.

I once found myself sitting next to someone on the bus, and we were both wearing sensors. We even had the same endocrinologist.

Fifty years ago, diabetes month was in March. No idea why. Now it's in November because that's when Dr. Banting's birthday is.

Yes, shortage of doctors. Fewer doctors want to be general practitioners and more want to be specialists and/work specifically in hospitals.

Terrible. I ignore anything that might be wrong with me unless it's absolutely urgent or incapacitating. Sometimes I can get a telehealth appointment. But a telehealth doctor told me that since I have gone without ADHD medicine for 50 years, I don't need it.

I take Wellbutrin. It doesn't help. I don't have a doctor to prescribe medication for me. So I don't get any.

Nothing because I am in Canada and I already don't have access to medication.
