Kyllä. Sitäpaitsi aikataulu on tärkeä siksikin että aikataulu ja todellisuuden vertaaminen suunnitelmaan on myös keino tarkistaa, onko suunnitelma sittenkään toteutettavissa järjellisessä ajassa vai pitääkö sitä muuttaa

Totta, ainakin tekstialoilla, kuten historia, nopea tekstintuotannon alkuun pääsy on olennaista. Aineiston paloittelu hanskattaviin osasiin ja ensimmäisen osan työstäminen samoin.

erilaisia ja väitöskirjassa kunnolliseen alkuun pääsemiseen tarvitaan eri asioita. Mieluusti kuulisin, mitä ne ovat - etenkin yhteiskuntatieteellisillä aloilla, mutta miksei muuallakin.
Siis mitä pitäisi tapahtua väitöskirjan ekan 6kk aikana, jotta prosessi etenisi jatkossakin hyvin?

Omalla alallani avoimen julkaisemisen kirjoittajamaksut eivät ole nousseet, mutta avoimesti julkaistavien julkaisujen määrä on moninkertaistunut muutaman vuoden kuluessa. Kokonaissumman kaksinkertaistuminen on vaatimaton arvio

You won’t find them in a database with ’biography’ as the search word - because the academic authors felt that was not a good way to classify their work.

Ah. Are you looking for things that call themselves biographies, or the historical research that starts out with a person in their center and use that to describe (and sometimes analyse) a historical phenomenom or structure or development?
