Basically a way for every character to start out unique, but if you want to grind enough, you can give every character every stat bonus and skill on the grid and make them all pretty cookie-cutter.

I don't think I've seen anyone talk about any game for it except Mario Kart World.

50501 is a (at least supposedly) grassroots org created in response to the Trump Admin's criming, named after "50 States, 50 Protests, 1 [Voice/Movement/etc]".

And the Apple research paper summarized in this YT Short shows that even the most advanced so-called "reasoning models" can't actually reason in the slightest: youtu.be/T-SP_z_4-e0?...

A former coworker of mine said this over the phone to the guy who worked nights before me...while she in bed next to her husband. It was like a 1AM phone call, so she was half asleep at the time, but yeah, embarassing.

I'm no rocket scientist, but I'm pretty sure that your rockets blowing up greatly increases the cost of your space program.

Not that I'm in favor of asset limits on government aid, but I don't see any excuse for it to be lower than 5x the annual poverty wage level (and ignore primary residence and 1 vehicle).

Most jurisdictions don't allow for the direct buying or selling of crypto that isn't a "stablecoin", so they serve as a bridge to buy the coins that aren't pegged to a currency (and thus are more speculative). Some crypto coins also use stablecoins as a buttress to limit value fluxtuation.

In what alternat universe do you live that Signal does anything that would count as a "social app"? It does text, voice, and video, and only to contacts you have previously established. There's nothing social media about it.

Except police officers have Qualified Immuity that is so broad, there's little they can actually get in trouble for on the job currently.

Ours had someone in the back with a sign that said something like "Protest supplies". They had water, granola bars, bandages, even sogn supplies.
They were just like "not my first protest, but probably is for a lot of people coming today."

Probably. It was also played to Trump walking off at the end of one of his campaign rallies last year.

The Green Berets had no fucks to give. They are just taking a stroll together.
Though I've seen others claim that a lot of drive to join their ranks is to not have to deal with a lot of the routine military bullcrap anymore.

Still, would military personnel stationed at a federal building for the purposes of securing it not have the same authority to detain someone as they would on a military base?

I think I remember hearing about one small one where they were claiming to be careful to train it on only stuff old enough to be in the public domain, but I can't imagine it's very good at it's job.

By phrasing that last line to make it seem to his followers that the protests have been violent, thereby accepting that false narrative.

And while Trump's messaging on COVID was bad, that admin pushed hard to get the vaccine fast, and gave people money directly to help households get by in the early days of economic turmoil.

Somehow, I think McNally probably has a connection that might help him find a good lawyer for this. 😄

Good enough HEPA or MERV rated furnace filters will work well. MERV 13 is probably the best you'll realistically be able to find. For CR boxes, or to toss in the furnace and just set to have the fan on constantly.

If you ever end up downtown, there's a bronze statue of the Fonz (from Happy Days) along the river that people take selfies with.
Was going to point you at the Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear, but it looks like COVID killed it.

I think part of it is that the first lawyer I saw react to it (who has a pretty big following) said in their quote skeet "this is illegal" without any qualification, which doesn't seem to be correct, and thus caused argument that ran wild.

If that's the only issue, why are they specifically recruiting for non-US accounts for this plan? Why can't the GFM money go into a US-based account that then pays to the Palestinians?

And if any of that money goes to anyone who is considered a member of Hamas, you probably fall afoul of US "funding terrorism" laws, regardless of if you knew.
And either way, far too many people don't consider the ruinous time and money expense of defending yourself in court even if you win.

Yeah. The original ask here is basically to allow some rando on the internet to borrow your overseas account to transfer money to one or more unidentified people you have never and likely will never meet.
Is it illegal? No. But it will get you a lot of federal scrutiny for possible crimes.

Ty losing his license was unlikely from the start. That basically only happens if you repeatedly lie to the court or steal money from your client. And so long as his actions could plausibly be defined as 'being a zealous advocate for his client", even a suspension was unlikely.

It feels like a lot of Hollywood movie adaptations of video games or older TV shows: a completely unrelated script that has the brand slapped on it to get it to sell. In this case the base story is good, unlike most of those. But it's not the same identity the brand has long had.

Andor is none of that. It's a gritty 1970's Cold War spy thriller with Star Wars settings slapped over it. Remove the 1 fairly insignificant droid and change out the Imperial uniforms, and it could be literally any sci-fi setting. So it doesn't *feel* like Star Wars.
