Bus can be cheaper (Granada is closer as option). Take a city bus (or stroll) out to Pedregalejo beach (15mins, No 11 or 3, about ā¬1.80), lined with local restaurants. Enjoy!

I spend a fair bit of time there: great free Inge Morath photo exhibition on now in arches of bull ring / Plaza de Toro; mad quirky Easter Week / Semana Santa themed bar Las Merchanas, on Calle Mosquera; ancient sherry bar, Antigua Casa de Guardia, on main Alameda Principa... Shout if I can help!
