Well it's down for the US. TikTok preemptively shit out down for the US rather than let it go obsolete over time

People have little awareness.... Anywhere. No matter where I go there is always some fuck standing in my way staring off into the distance without a single care for the people around then.

My concern is that it focuses too heavily on regurgitation of material than actually learning it. Certainly you learn stuff doing that but if you aren't enjoying it will you even retain it afterwards?

Historically my classes have had weekly thoughtful discussion and response, two short papers or two exams and maybe a short project. I've never had a class that has discussion, three exams, a presentation, a 3 page book review, a 3 page paper, and a 12 page term paper. Plus 4 books. That is A LOT.

I agree that I've been spoiled, but also that style of learning has been very enjoyable to me. I have a full time job and other responsibilities outside of grad school and I don't know how I'm going to get all this done.

So far in undergrad and grad school, the class expectations have been middle ground. Discussion posts + a project, or posts + an exam. This class is posts + 3 major exams + a report + a presentation + a term paper. And the instructor only has things due T-Th which means you don't have much time.

That's only $91 in today's money. All of my books cost more than that to rent a digital copy....each.

I think if any cat was going to do that it would be Pixel, she is such a bitch. But she also snuggles with me and makes the biscuits so all is forgiven.

Necessary evils and all that. But damn is it exhausting to constantly vote that way.

Dogs are a bit too much like babies for my preferences but damn if I don't snuggle the fuck out of them when I encounter them.
