Cats, philodendrons, typewriters, clocks, queers, spiritual folk, healthcare, (progressive) Lutherans, bungalows . . . the list goes on. Healthcare, housing, and education should not be expenses that people in the USA are forced to stress about.

I’m sure federal charges will apply. But as with Chauvin, federal charges run the risk of being pardoned by the current administration. So we must definitely get the state charges to stick.

Over in my yard there used to be a whole bunch of bumblebees. Have not seen one yet this year.

Barbara Rossing's 2005 book, "The Rapture Exposed," notes that the idea of a rapture -- the idea of Revelation as a specific kind of prophecy, dates only from the 1800's. She reads the book, instead, as a coded message of hope to those living under oppressive Roman government.

Thanks! I’m not super radical in how I dress but why should only women get to wear necklaces, you know? Fun little bit of gender disobedience. 🙂

Two worthy items of note: the hard floor attachment is, in fact, GREAT on my wood floors. And the turbo upholstery thingy is indeed incredibly helpful & effective for getting cat fur off the couch, et cetera.

I'm not angry or emotionally-wounded, I just had a good GenX eyeroll about it all. But when people call Minnesotans passive-aggressive, let's apparently include the Chicagoans. LOL

Grief sucks. I’m so sorry. Big hugs. “Noteworthy,” though, is subjective. I bet you did something kind for a friend or a stranger. I bet you did something creative that made someone smile. I bet you listened to someone. Those things matter.
