This! When I think Elves, I think of that phrase of the root of the word awesome - awe inspiring, terrific and terror inspiring. I think of that "a dog is fae to the wolf" uncanny and similar and wrong and dangerous. The closer to Fae the better imo

I know this feeling! One of my OCs comes from a cult where the pronoun used depends heavily on your familiarity with the person, where they rank in the religious order, and where they rank in relation to the person you're talking about them to. Its a LOT of fun <3

I'm so sorry that's been happening - sometimes when things like this all happen at once after some relative quiet, it feels like life was just using that time to wind up for a suckerpunch. The empty feel of the Internet doesn't help with that either. I hope you at least get some rest time soon :(
