This. They really act like there are no employment or any other laws. Which is of course what oligarchs want.

This.

I will report this email as phishing if it comes from outside my agency.

The man is an incomprehensible goon and cabinet officials threatening American cities with "hell" ought to be disqualifying. It's a violent threat to Americans. By the government. If they think it will stand, I'll point out their math ain't mathing on what control they really hold over this country.

"Weaponized transparency" is a new phrase I learned from this episode

🇵🇱🤝🇺🇦 "Poland bought Starlinks, which it gave to Ukraine. We pay and will continue to pay a subscription fee for satellite internet for Ukraine. I cannot imagine that someone could decide to terminate a business contract for a commercial service, to which Poland is a party."

Hey @halbfinger.bsky.social, could you or someone else at the Times explain how firing a qualified senior general “root[s] out diversity initiatives?” Which initiative specifically did this “root out?”

"The Soviet empire insidiously and pragmatically tried to set Ukrainians and Jews against each other in order to convince both sides that Ukrainians hated Jews, while Jews hated all things Ukrainian." ukrainianjewishencounter.org/en/setting-u...

Following his Nazi salute, Steve Bannon engages in unalloyed antisemitism, calling progressive US Jews the "#1 enemy...inside the wire" for Israelis, "progressive Jewish billionaires funding all this stuff", disloyal to Israel & MAGA

Everyone is quick to jump to 1930s Nazi comparisons with these guys, when I think the goal they can achieve is Apartheid-era South Africa. A whole lot of white people wouldn’t condone outright murder, but enforced state segregation? They absolutely would go for that.

Trump take egg. Sheinbaum dar huevo

The GOP go-to is "blame immigrants" -- and it's not working this time

The attacks on DEI are a pretext for a much more radical agenda of reversing the gains of the civil rights movement, an objective the Trump administration is pursuing with zeal. A Great Resegregation. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

"The state needs capacity to perform core tasks, such as collecting revenue, taking care of veterans, tracking weather, and ensuring that travel, medicine, food, and workplaces are safe."--without the first, you can't do the latter set (which NO private enterprise would do w/o government support).

Big Balls’s past gets more scrutiny — including the internship where he was terminated. “You’re willing to risk our entire network to a 17-year-old?” one frustrated executive asked the company’s CEO in 2022. “Are you for real right now?” @cnn.com www.cnn.com/2025/02/21/p...

This video showing DOGE lying about saving taxpayer money was removed by TikTok even though it violated no rules.

This is what the Silicon Valley gang wants the US to base its full faith and credit on.

saying it again: if there are "conditions" on aid to california, no democrat should vote for any disaster aid of any kind to any state. all states get aid or no states get aid. that's it

Lots of people sharing a purported quote from Yarden Bibas - apparently based on comments from the IDF spox - that is at odds with this statement. Stop exploiting his family’s murder to reinforce your political positions.

"Still, the firings have bewildered federal employees like Powell. If their mission is to reduce government waste, she said, it doesn’t make sense to get rid of auditors like her tasked with detecting fraud." www.nola.com/news/louisia...

This kind of stuff needs to be prosecuted or at least incur massive massive fines in order to deter it in the future.

Zelensky should do whatever he thinks Trump wants to not sell him out, and Democrats should promise publicly to cancel the blackmail deal when they cancel this regime and restore order. Since we’re not doing the whole rule of law or anything right now.

Secretary Duffy is wrong about most things. The nice guy act lasted less than a month after confirmation.

It’s not just Space X. Musk was able to save Tesla because of a loan from the Dept of Energy. Here he is in 2013 filled with gratitude for the federal agency & the taxpayers who saved his business. From reporting by @puck.news. airmail.news/issues/2025-...

I mean, it's a few grad students, Michael, how much could it cost? $22.3 billion?

This is a terrible idea. Congressional staff already aren’t paid enough and members of Congress rely on lobbyists for expertise instead of having it in house. $6.4 billion isn’t nearly enough for the legislative branch.

“The President deserves a senior military team who will implement illegal orders to invade allies or turn against domestic civilians”

Today in “neither our media nor our political system is designed to deal with a far right authoritarian party” This is a noble view that unfortunately depends on the presumption of shared democratic norms once held by both parties, which clearly no longer exist.

Be clear about what you are seeing. The firing of these senior officers has nothing to do with competence. This is creating an oath of loyal by the Armed Forces to the Leader. We face an uncertain future.

In every single interview I’ve done with international media since Trump took power I’ve been asked: Why are there no mass protests? There are many reasons, of course, but the utter refusal of the self-proclaimed “fourth estate” to communicate clearly what is happening has to be high on the list.

WaPo Page One: “If you’re going to just yell at me, that’s not going to be an effective town hall,” McCormick said .. “But we’re pissed!” a woman shouted. #GA07 www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Yeah we’re going to need a second reconstruction.

I figured out the new DoD leadership policy:

one really interesting thing about congestion pricing is that Trump basically said “I am killing congestion pricing right now”, got a friendly puff piece in the New York Post, and then every other media outlet went along with it even though it turned out he actually did not kill congestion pricing

Im sorry but Jeffries needs to go.

Wait, excuse me, a book tour?

I'd actually rather see Dems scorn whatever second rate white dude they bring up. They should ponder aloud the point of asking any Trump nominee a tough question, because they have never been truthful. I'd give them and the administration the absolute lack of respect they deserve.

This is how it’s done.

Trump steal insulin

Now might be a good time for retired 4-star GOFOs to speak out!

This administration would have you believe their actions are aligned with the "warfighters." I was Marine Corps infantry. I think what they are doing is wrong, disastrous for military readiness, dangerous for democracy, and I condemn it, strongly. www.chamberlainnetwork.us/the-report/t...
