The unlawful seizure of data, payments, hiring and even real estate control by an unelected & unfettered digital narcissist at the behest of a power grabbing chief executive is the only story right now. As I noted Friday, this is a hostile takeover and our nation’s lawmakers are sleeping through it.

having been (at separate times) both a Microsoft employee and product counsel, I cannot stress enough how important it is to ask the important but oft overlooked question:
"could this new feature make it illegal, unethical, or dangerous for certain groups to use our product?"

That approach to risk imposes a massive overhead in terms of “risk management”.
Startups can pick and choose their market.
Government cannot.
Startups are mainly in it to scale and exit.
Government is in it for the long term.
Startups are about revenue.
