She's just this really quiet, scared young woman. I made her far too cute for her own good.

You're reminding me that I've been sitting on an asura-centric guild that I haven't done anything with. I should, to set up more asura-centric stuff.

Saw this post about it on Tumblr. Pissed as hell about it too. There's info about sending feedback as well.

I knew I wanted her to have at LEAST one living relative, and Phlunt is just generally the funniest option. The OTHER funny option was having her be Blish and Gorrik's many times great aunt, but ultimately I think Phlunt is the vastly sillier option.

He never physically harms her; she's FAR too valuable for that. She's a survivor of a calamity that set their people back decades and left them scattered. She's his pet project. But when she kills him, she reveals she HAS learned a little New Krytan. She says "I do not belong to you."

Including the wip here of Evva and her handler Myrrd. He's the one who pulled her through the mists from the exodus from Quora Sum, and he's the one who keeps her caged. He's creepy obsessed with her, and honestly, it's gonna be so satisfying when she finally murks his manipulative ass.

Just WAGH. Someone come talk to me about her. I love her so much.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Honestly, me though. I am not a big WvW-er but I got three gifts of battle in two days. Projects coming together left and right!

I THINK ABOUT HIM SO MUCH I CAN'T HELP IT. There's so many years he can't get back once he realizes how badly he was mistreated as a kid and it gets me EVERY time.

In hindsight, it's incredibly funny in a frustrating way that they used her to promote the expac as hard as they did and then she was only in fifteen minutes of the first drop before being IMMEDIATELY removed from the story. "Okay you know where she is now stop asking we're moving ON goodbye."

Exactly that yes. Worded perfectly. If they'd given it any weight at all, let us sit with her while she weighed her options, went back and forth, it COULD have worked. Instead she's there for 15 minutes, loses Snaff 2.0, then is immediately mind wiped and shoved out of the story. It was just bad.

It was even worse coming on the heels of Gyala Delve, shaky as that story may have been, with the theme of "your friends care about you but you have to actually tell them you're struggling." To say nothing of the glaring plot holes and inconsistencies in her behavior towards the comm. HATE it.

It isn't until he's 21 that he even experiences someone handling him with any amount of tenderness or care. It's not the only thing that spurred his falling in love with Kippa, but it certainly didn't hurt. He's just. A really important kid to me.

An obedient living weapon. A boy who was never a child. Whose life was brutal experimental surgeries and hours upon hours of sparring with grown adults to make sure he was everything Prikk's experiments promised. Those are years he can't get back, and there's no one who could possibly understand.

Like god I am not big in the space. I've felt pretty ostracized the last year. But I care about my boy. But he was nineteen when his father forced him to become the face of the Inquest and the face of the Pact. He'd been brutally trained for a moment like this one. The Inquest's gift to Tyria.

Beyond that, there's a difference between ego and how Zojja acted. She also had the credentials to back up her talk. She wasn't blowing smoke up anyone's ass; she was THE premiere genius on the block. & frankly it felt like they only brought her back to sand her down and put her on a bus for good.

YES.

Still doesn't change how much I hate what happened to her in SotO. Like, if we'd had time to build it up, sure. But it otherwise felt extremely disingenuous. It was a jarring change and didn't feel true to her as a character, on top of a number of glaring plot holes.

She's fascinated by stuff with the mists, and it's what she's best at understanding! She was actually made to be a wvw support tempest (dagger dagger baby!) and I wanted to give her some lore, and I honestly really love what I've got.

I went to a small rural school and we didn't have the simulated accident but they did have the wreckage of an actual car that was totaled in a drunk driving incident and, at least according to the folks in charge the occupants died. My friend's school did the sim accident though.

I think PvP game modes just stress me out in general. Didn't help that today there was a spellbreaker that killed me a couple times while I was trying to catch up to tag, then started intentionally targeting me and picking me out of small running groups. It's really frustrating.

One of us one of us one of us. I know it's my brand but I will forever throw rats at people because they're SO INTERESTING. Charr are pretty awesome too.
