Honestly, having trans kids is hard in some ways, but pretty much all of the things that make it hard grow out of how shit society is towards trans people. Acceptance saves lives, full stop.

As a parent of a trans kid, that is the way my partner and I reacted to her coming out and I’m absolutely sure it was the single most correct and moral decision I have ever made.
