My sister told me today that my 9 yo nephew has been looking at news articles on the internet and asked her how we’re going to survive the next 4 yrs because Trump is “taking away things like school and medicine” and honestly he’s no more misinformed than ppl that think Trump’s gonna do great stuff

After reading the new policy on education I understand that “make America great again” has little to do with actual achievements. It is really about taking away the ability to question anything in our national history that was not particularly praise worthy. 1/2

I just read some in depth material about Neil Gaiman’s sexual assaults and I am deeply saddened for all of the women he mistreated and the son he abused by including him in these acts. This is beyond horrendous. I don’t know how I could ever read or watch anything associated with him again.

I have so many issues with #starwars episode IX… but the part where Adam Driver/Ben Solo reaches out through the force, grabs his family’s lightsaber and shrugs a la his father and smiles it filled my heart with joy. Did they get anything else right?
