either way the reason i’m not very hopeful is that the HST are an islamist group
there is NO way that if they did assume power they wouldn’t enforce islam on all + sharia law
n i think the best for syria is secularism so all religious groups can prosper

syria is very religiously diverse
asking them all to chant that is just the first step at enforcing islam on everyone

what if they get a palestinian nationality and have the right to vote and elect representatives of jewish palestinians etc… i don’t think it would be difficult to integrate them since palestinians are inherently diverse ethnically and religiously

my only argument FOR a 2 state solution would be that it’s kind of hypocritical w us accepting and recognizing the US, Australia and other nations that unlawfully occupied a pre-inhabited land - but then again I think recently in the 20th century we kind of established commonly agreed international
