I want to demystify and remove the fear from disasters so children can feel some sense of control and be a part of their family’s preparation. We discuss things like why you shelter in place vs evacuate in certain types of emergencies. We talk about the importance of community building.

1 - Form an affinity group with friends, neighbors, family members and coworkers you trust intimately. Ideally they should be a group of people sharing your values and goals about what’s going on & what should be done.
