once the sun melted the ice/snow on our solar panels things have been looking better on the home engergy front: in Jan we used 994kWh (imported from the grid) In Feb we net imported 0kWh and exported an additional 198kWh (credit toward future usage of the grid).

TV Streaming is too complicated with too many options that cost too much. Cable sucks, streaming sucks. WTF yo? I need to get some OTA antennas and find some way to get the weird shit my wife likes to watch, like Rugby, and the normal shit like HGTV and Food in a way that doesn't break the bank.

Fun disc golf event to celebrate friends having a baby. Started on 12, slipped on a wooden bridge and bashed my left hip after throwing out of bounds. Followed up with a hole in one (ace) on 13. Crazy round with 7 birdies in a row.

I like to use Libby to check out books onto my kindle. However, I don't like Amazon. So, after yesterday I'm basically done using that process. I returned the book I finished and won't reuse that process to get a follow up book. I will use my kindle just not via Amazon anymore.

Played a game called "Clank!" last night. It was really easy to learn and was fun to play. The deck "building" didn't feal onerous, the dynamic map was a cool part, and the fact that even if you don't escape the dungeon you are still involved and can still, possibly win, is pretty cool.

Yesterday had the privledge of playing in the 28th local Ice bowl disc golf tourny. Doubles. We did okay in the first round (apx rating of 895), 3 behind the leaders. In round two we woke up and shot a -9 on a very hard course apx 975 rated and end up in a 3 way tie for 1st. We lost in playoff. 1/2

My mom needed to use FEMA and it wasn't a great experience. But, it was a hell of a lot better than not having anyone present with experience coordinating all the different agencies/services operating. Getting rid of FEMA will force each state to build their own FEMA. Maybe they already have one?

The whole tariff "stick" to get people to do what you want is interesting. Sure, we pay the tarrif. But, we're a huge economy and lots of industries and countries depend on us spending money. I dont think tarrifs will help spawn manufacturing here - but it might pick winners and losers abroad. 1/5
