Ahh Terry. Good on him. Although if you’re going to blow your load, should have tried to find that moment live on air to say, “Stephen Miller is a fascist ghoul passionately driven by hate.”

I reread it last summer. I agree.

White supremacy means "we're always the best, even when we're not" ...these people can't come to terms with their incompetence and mediocrity to begin with, that's why white nationalism appeals to them so much. :P

It's also just a case that narcissists can't handle sharing the attention for more than a short period of time. One of them was inevitably going to get sick of sharing the stage and stab the other in the back, I just honestly thought it would happen even sooner.

It’s incredibly handy that they concluded that systems can’t be racist only individual people can be right before substituting machine systems for individual people.

The lawyers who decide to try this should contemplate how good it will be for their careers to be disbarred.

Also, wouldn't client privilege keep him from disclosing this kind of info?

It's strange that the actual disagreement here is missing from the Trump-Musk discourse. Trump wants to dramatically slash Medicaid to fund tax cuts for the rich. Musk doesn't object strenuously to the tax cuts for the rich. He wants even worse spending cuts!

I blocked that supposed teacher. Not sure how you read what I wrote and assume my kid said or did anything. He showed me the spelling test and was confused. That was the extent to his involvement. I worry for that person's students with that level of emotional dysregulation.

You sound like a lunatic. Bless your heart. Go back to twitter.

How does it help the teacher's other students to be like, "oh well, guess 32 kids might potentially learn the wrong thing, but who cares? Doesn't matter." 🙄

Check your attitude. I thank teachers all the time. In fact I went out of my way to be on the PTSA board at my son's school to do more to support teachers directly. I don't think saying, "hey you made a mistake here" is inherently disrespectful. It's about FACT & accountability.

people who clearly value money and profits for their own sake over having a functional society or economy should be in charge of the government. :P

So, am I to take this to mean Andrew Yang thinks the presidency should be part popularity contest and that the fact that someone has siphoned billions of dollar out of other people's pockets to make their dragon hoard, means they'd make a good president? Maybe I'm naive, but I don't think

I hope Georgians are already tired of being represented by some of the stupidest, racist people in the country.

What sense is there in kids studying for the test, only to be "corrected" into an incorrect spelling to save some teacher's fragile ego?

Just pointing out that a mistake had been made in grading, and that they might need to follow up if any other students were marked off as well. I got a snarky letter back about how students & parents need to be mindful of respecting teachers and deferring to their authority. I was like "uhh... no."

When my son was in maybe second or third grade, he came home and showed me a spelling test where the teacher had marked one of the words "wrong," but based on the list of words on the fridge & my own spelling ability was clearly correct. I politely sent a letter in to school with the test...

I need every one of these kids to be on the local evening news. Trump supporters need to be reminded every damn day, that Trump demonized all immigrants as criminals and they voted to allow him to arrest and deport school children and infants.

I was kind of mortified by how closely schools in the south are run like prisons, compared to how school was when I was a kid growing up in Minnesota.

I had this experience last summer when I reread the Earthsea series. Those last couple of books hit way harder and different as a perimenopausal lady.

People who needed that money a lot less than people actually losing their jobs and hours.

It really just makes me wonder how much EVEN better the recovery could have been if we went all in on direct payments and didn’t pretend all the PPP loan stuff was necessary and not highly fraudulent, before also forgiving those “loans.” It sure seems like some people knew in advance it was free $.

I guess it's too "partisan" to say "the two most powerful men in the world behaved with depraved irresponsibility in an online fight that would have been too embarrassing for any B-tier pop star"

Ro Khanna is really trying to out JD Vance in the “doesn’t stand for anything, will fall for anything” camp of politics. His personal ambitions and a willingness to do anything to get there means he should never be allowed to get there.

I'm sure Ivy League schools are really looking forward to hiring people who don't believe in history we have video recording of to teach history, and fucking science teachers who don't believe in germ theory, not to mention the people paying these giant tuitions. 🙄

I bet the guys asking this as an application/interview question are the same guys who laid off my husband a decade ago after he wrote automation scripts that streamlined three people's weekly jobs into one. There is never a reward for the people actually making the improvements.

It’s gotta be a communist plot to just hire the best job candidates and pay them fair wages. Everyone knows real freedom is working three jobs just to live with roommates.

We couldn’t possibly learn from real world experience. Get the consultants living in their DC flats, never seeing the light of day to get on the computers and run a simulation of likely voters based on their own vibes.
