We didn't just fight with these tanks, we lived on them. We could carry more food and 55 gallons of potable water whereas the infantrymen could only carry about one gallon of water and enough food for two days. I was lucky to be on a tank. I lost 3 to mines and RPGs but escaped without a scratch.
